1960s Cherub Riding a Dolphin Open Dresser Dish DESCRIPTION ~ seaside*collectibles is happy to bring you this lovely dresser dish which is in pressed glass and brass on a marble base. STYLE ~ Ornate Late Victorian. The dish is an impressive piece of pressed glass that sits upon the pedestal that is detailed with a young cherub riding a dolphin through the ocean waves. The base is of solid marble and is felted in the bottom. The piece is perfect for a guest bathroom, side dresser or vanity table and could hold any amount of things, such as soaps, dried scented flowers, trinkets and even calling cards! MATERIALS ~ PRESSED GLASS. Antiqued BRASS and polished MARBLE. ref: B95_2 ERA ~ Early - Mid 1960s ORIGIN / HALLMARK ~ None observed. Most probably JAPAN.
