Vintage 14k Yellow Gold 12x10mm Rectangle Scissor cut style pavilion Emerald Cut Purple Amethyst Ring secured with pretty split prongs. Size 6. Recently appraised and cleaned, details from jeweler are as follows: 4.6 grams, 4 split prongs, condition very good, stair-step knife edge shoulders and a semi-domed shank. 5.24 cts, type I, eye-clean. Color is medium with slight pinkish purple. Cut, finish, brilliancy (50% - 70%) all good.
Minor scratches on crown facets under magnification. One owner, well cared for family piece. Stone measure 1/2" x 3/8". It does have a makers mark that I can not identify.
