This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE RING that was made in the LATE VICTORIAN period of c1880. It is handmade from 18K YELLOW GOLD with sterling silver for the gemstone setting. The ring is centrally prong-set with 4 RUBIES that are OVAL SHAPED weighing approx. 2.0 carats. Three of the rubies are NATURAL and one on the end is a synthetic replacement These rubies have facet abrasions that are consistent with the nearly 150 year old age. The rubies are nicely matched as well.
The ring is also set with 10 OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND of H-I-J color, SI to I clarity that weighs approx. 1.10 ct. The head of the ring measures 13.95 mm wide by 15.75 mm across.
