This is an ORIGINAL VINTAGE COCKTAIL RING that was made in the RETRO style during the 1940s from PLATINUM. It is horizontally prong-set with 1 NATURAL BLUE SAPPHIRE that is a FACETED OVAL SHAPE weighing approx. .60 ct. This sapphire measures 5.49 x 4.33 x 3.15 mm. The sides of the sapphire are set with 2 EUROPEAN CUT DIAMONDS of H - I color, SI1 clarity that weigh approx. .18 ct each.
The ring is detailed with an additional 28 SINGLE CUT DIAMONDS of H - I color, SI to I clarity that weigh approx. .64 ctw. The total diamond weight is approx. 1.0 ctw. The head of the ring measures 11/16” across by 7/16” north to south and it sits 5/16” high off the finger. The ring size is a 6.75 and the total weight is a solid feeling 6.4 grams. I had a very hard time trying to get good photos of this ring as it is all sparkle and I promise it looks better than the photos show.
