This is a dimensional figural double fish brooch or pin depicting the horoscope symbol for Pisces. Pisces is symbolized by two fish swimming in opposite directions; one fish has its head at the other fish’s tail. The fish is gold tone with detailed scales; each fish has a green rhinestone eye. In the center of the two fish is the glyph for Pisces, it shows two crescents pointing outwards for receptivity, held together by the line of matter. It measures approximately 2 inches in diameter. If you look on the Internet you will see a similar Zodiac Pisces fish designed by DeNicola, but this one does not have the enamel or the plastic body that is incorporated in his design.

It is in nice vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. If you look closely you can see that one of the thirteen tiny faux seed pearls has been replaced and does not exactly match the others. There are also 13 clear rhinestones in the symbol or glyph design for Pisces. There is some slight loss of gold finish in little spots on the front and the back (see pictures), but without the magnification in the photos, you can’t really see them in person. To the naked eye the brooch has a gorgeous shine and is quite stunning. All the little defects do not show, even the replaced pearl is not really noticeable without the enlargement in the photos. Because of the small defects in the finish I am selling this brooch at a reduced price. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.
