Item description for Lizard Gecko Tie Tack Lapel Pin Southwest Signed HF Pewter Figural

This is a terrific silvertone metal Tie Tac Lapel Pin Brooch with a clutch back. The figural animal pin depicts a Lizard, Gecko or Salamander. It is signed on the back “© HF”. It is a highly detailed pin; the lizard is wearing a collar with raised silver balls and there is a raised feather down the center of his back. The tail has little round balls all up and down it and there is a spiral pattern on the back below the feather. It is a lovely Southwestern design. I believe the metal to be Pewter. It measures approximately 2 ¼ inches by 1 ¼ inches.

This pre-owned pin is in great condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. It has a single post on the back with a butterfly or military clutch type fastener for a secure grip. The clutch grips the pin post after the pin has been pushed through the garment, perfect of a jacket lapel.
