This is an adorable vintage set of two Pelican figural scatter pins made by Gerry's Jewelry Company or Gerry's Creations. Each pin is signed on the back “GERRY'S” with the copyright mark. Gerry's was in business from the 1950s until 1996. I believe these Pelicans are from the late 1950s to early 1960s. They are done in a black and white enamel with a great amount of detail. Each pin is approximately 1 ½ inches tall and 1 inch wide. There must not have been very many of the Pelicans made because I have not been able to find another pair on the Internet.  

They are in very good vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is a little bit of light wear to the enamel and a couple of tiny stains on the back of the pins. Both pins have secure clasps, although one of the pins has a slight bend to it.

They are ready to wear and perfect for any sea bird lover. They would be great on a jacket lapel, so fun, cute and whimsical.
