This is a stunning and unusual matching Brooch and Earrings Set. The pieces are not marked that I can see other than a patent number on the earring clip back. The base of the Brooch and of the Earrings is a gold tone metal with flowers at the top. Out of the flowers rises the black stamens or petals. The black is carved out of wood, each piece is unique. The set has a tropical feel to it, reminds me of the Polynesian style jewelry. 

The Brooch measures 3 1/2 inches across at the longest point and 3 1/2 inches tall. The earrings are clip earrings and when placed on the ear the black stamens point upwards. The earrings are 2 inches long. The set is in excellent vintage condition. If you look closely you can see the glue where the wood was glued into the gold flower base. You definitely don’t see it when you are wearing them.

This would make a great accessory with that little black dress, just the right touch to dress up the evening a little.
