This BUTTER SPREADER is made by WMF Fraser and is part of the PRISMA GOLD line.  This spreader was purchased at an estate sale; it is our belief that it has never been used but we do see some surface marks on it from storage over time.

On the back of the spreader is etched "WMF Cromargan 18/8 Singapore."  Cromargan, the registered trademark of WMF's 18/10 stainless steel since 1927, is an alloy consisting of 18% chromium, 10% nickel, and 72% steel. 

Our spreader measures 6 3/8" long. The two embellished areas are a 24K gold plated design.
