This is not actually what my house looks like, nor my sewing room, but that is a photo of me at the sewing machine, pastiched into a room in a brick house. And on the wall is another piece of mine, "What the Cat Did!" This is part of a series of work showing a window from the outside looking into a room. This piece actually is layered, giving a degree of depth to the room's interior.

My artwork is mounted on foam core, which creates a light-weight but rigid piece with a wire for hanging and a felt backing. It is treated with a sun-block spray, although prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may eventually cause fading.
