1) In my (seller) opinion this item is microdermabrasion-like. You (buyer) are correct these are not neutrogena's microdermabrasion pad. I (seller) have tried both and I find this neutrogena wave cleanser pad to be a much softer version than the "official" neutrogena microdermabrasin pad.
