The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), released the 5000-Piso Lapu-Lapu Commemorative Banknote last Friday, the 17th of January. This commemorative note was launched in honor of the 500th anniversary of Lapu-Lapu's victory in the Battle of Mactan.
