There is a 1.5 meter long cable with plug and on/off switch on the mirror. You can use it by plugging it into an electrical outlet. If you want to use it from the wall switch, you can cut the cable with scissors and connect it to the electrical installation on your wall. There is a transformer (adapter) in the mirror.
