Message on front dated Dec 30 1908

Front written note reads "Charlotte has brought a Victor Larkin J Machine and we all are very pleased with it.  It is nice to be able to play. SLM" 

Research indicates the reference is to a phonograph.

Postmark Nov 20 11AM New London Conn

The postmark and message dates do not align - it is unclear if it was postmarked in a later year or if the individual mixed up the month when writing the message.
