This is an an ANTIQUE ENGAGEMENT / COCKTAIL RING that was made in the ART DECO period of the 1930s from PLATINUM. The ring is centrally bezel-set with 1 OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND of J-K color SI3 clarity that weighs 2.18 CARATS. This diamond comes with an EGL USA GEM ID (2017), which states an APPRAISED RETAIL REPLACEMENT VALUE of $18,100 just for the diamond. The center diamond is set slightly higher than it’s double halo and I promise this diamond will not disappoint as it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS to the naked eye. The weight is engraved in the shank.
The ring’s EMERALD HALO is CHANNEL-SET with 14 NATURAL EMERALDS of the finest quality that weigh approx. .65 ctw. The outer halo is set with 26 OLD EUROPEAN CUT DIAMONDS with an additional 6 small diamonds set in the shoulders. These diamonds are of H-I color, SI1 to SI2 clarity and weighing approx. .45 ctw. The cushion shaped head of the ring measures 16.6 mm north to south by 15.92 mm across. The ring size is a 5.25 and the total weight is a solid feeling 6.2 grams.
