Evolvulus Blue Daze are native to South America. These creeping plants have unusual blue flowers which make them stand out. Their leaves and stems are covered in tiny gray hairs that remind you of peach fuzz. Their blooms have a short lifespan, but the plant continually produces more, which makes this a great hanging basket or landscape plant. Evolvulus will tolerate full sun, are easy to grow.

Evolvulus will bloom naturally in the spring as the days lengthen. Each flower lasts about one day, opening in the morning and closing in the evening. The plant produces many blooms each day to keep the cycle going.

Growing Tips:

1.We recommend planting 5 starter plants per 10-12 inch basket. Use a well-drained soil in your baskets and plant your starter plants deep, allowing the ellepot to be completely covered by the soil. If you are planting 4" pots, 1 plant per pot should be sufficient. Plant it directly in the middle of your pot.

2.Pinching is not required on a natural season bloom schedule, but it is useful in shaping the basket as needed. Remember to give yourself a minimum of 4 weeks from the last pinch for blooms to develop.
