This is an unusual vintage multi-color rhinestone jeweled bottle, can opener and corkscrew. It is a combination tool for opening bottles, cans, and wine bottles. The opener is gold tone metal and has a corkscrew that folds into the compartment when not in use. There is an embellished metal attachment at the top with 11 rhinestones that are part of a floral design. The stones are purple, blue, green and pink. This is most likely from the 1950s and was made by the King Manufacturing Company of Torrington, CT.

On the side it reads “KING Turner Seymour MFG CO. Torrington, CONN. U.S.A.” and has a crown for a logo.  It also has “Tempered Steel Blade” engraved.  It comes with the original box, which does show lots of age and staining. The opener measures approximately 5 inches long.

This fancy opener is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I'm not sure if my parents ever used it, if they did it was not very often. The box does show age & staining from being kept on the bar or in the drawer. The cork screw closes nice and tight. The rhinestones are bright and shiny and sparkling. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details and condition better than I can describe.

This will be a perfect addition to anyone’s collection of barware or Breweriana. It is unique and will be a great conversation starter anytime it is used to open a bottle at a party.
