This is a stunning and intricately detailed Hummingbird brooch or pin. The head and body feature clear white round rhinestones and faux marcasite.  The tips of the feathers on the wings are accented in shades of blue, green, red and gold in beautiful enamel. Hanging from the bird’s beak is a single clear round rhinestone encircled with a gold bezel. The bird has a bright green rhinestone eye. The very large brooch measures approximately 3 ½ inches by 3 inches. The brooch is unsigned.

It is in excellent condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs.  The rollover safety clasp works fine. There are no missing or darkened stones and the enamel and gold tone metal has no loss of finish or damage. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would look great on a jacket lapel, a scarf or even on a purse or a hat. I show it on a straw style purse and on a low cut top. It is perfect for anyone who enjoys these lovely birds; they are like flying jewels in the garden. This is an adorable bird for someone special. A perfect accessory for Spring and Summer.
