This is an adorable vintage Monet Black Cat Brooch or Pin with loads of personality and detail. The cat is painted with a black enamel finish. The cat is wearing a lovely gold collar with seven clear rhinestones. It has pretty inset emerald green faceted rhinestone or crystal eyes that give it a touch of glam or glitz. The whiskers on the cat’s face are highlighted in gold as are the ears and the body. It has a curled tail and has such a cute expression on its face. It is signed on the back with an impressed “© Monet”. It measures approximately 1 3/8 inches tall and 1 1/8 inches wide.

It is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is no enamel loss and no chips. The rhinestones have lots of sparkle and catch the light as you move.  It has a rollover clasp on the back that works just fine. The brooch would make a great addition to your collection of wearable figural jewelry art. It is perfect for any cat or animal lover.
