This is a pane of 12 self adhesive FOREVER stamps celebrating the Chinese Lunar Year of the Rooster, the 10th of the 12 zodiac signs of the Chinese Lunar Calendar that starts from January 28th and ends February 15, 2018. 2017 is a Fire Rooster Year: trustworthy, with a strong sense of timekeeping and responsibility at work.

The stamp design shows a red envelope (hongbao) which features a colorful illustraton of a rooster highlights. Characters at the top of envelope is a common Chinese greeting of celebration and wish for prosperity and good fortune as used during each Lunar New Year.
