This is the most gorgeous pair of faceted Lucite Flower earrings I have seen. The Lucite is transparent with six large tear drop shaped highly faceted crystal like petals in a lovely pastel yellow that sparkle and catch the light in reflections. Between each petal are six pointed oval or Marquis shaped orange Lucite pieces that provide the perfect accent between the petals. In the center of the flower is a domed bezel set cabochon center in a deep coppery orange encircled and surrounded by channel set clear sparkling rhinestones.

The earrings are very 3-Dimensional and have a depth of about an inch. These floral earrings are super-sized and quite impressive with a large 3 inch diameter. You can get a good idea of the size in the picture where one is on the ear and the other picture with the soda can. These are most likely from the 1960s.

They have clip-on style backings that work great with padded ear cushions (the cushions are 2 different styles – see pictures). Each earring has a hole in one of the Lucite Petals so they can be easily converted to pierced dangles if desired or used as a pendant. The original price tag sticker of $55.00 is still on a tag on the back of one of the earrings, they were an expensive pair all those years ago.

These are in very good vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged pictures and are real stunners. There are no cracks, chips or scratches in the clear yellow Lucite Petals. All of the Rhinestones are clear and shiny. There are a few marks on the back of the clips where the clip meets the backing and one of the ear cushions had stuck to the clip (see pictures).

This is an impressive pair of earrings and a real eye catching pair to add to your collection of vintage Lucite or Plastic Jewelry. They are absolutely sensational and the pictures don't do them justice. They were difficult to photograph because they are so transparent and reflective when they catch the light.
