Item description for Vintage Jonette JJ Fish School Brooch Pin Earrings Set Figural Bronze

This is a great looking Demi Parure vintage set made by Jonette. It includes a School of Fish brooch or pin with matching pierced dangle earrings. There are nine fish in the school swimming together; the eyes of each fish are open circles. The brooch measures approximately 3 ¼ inches long and 1 ½ inches tall. The earrings measure approximately 1 ½ inches by ¾ inches (not including wires). The set appears to be made of an antiqued brass or bronze colored metal. It was made by the Jonette Jewelry Company in Rhode Island. The company first used the copyright symbol in 1977 and the company closed its doors in 2006. These are most likely from the 1980s. They are signed on the back of the fish brooch and on each of the fish earrings “©JJ” on a rectangular cartouche.

These are in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished these as many people prefer the patina that forms with age; I will leave any cleaning and shining up to you. The roll over clasp on the brooch works just fine. The pierced earrings have shepherd or French hooks. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

These are perfect to wear with a little black dress or your favorite pair of jeans. These would be a wonderful accessory addition to your wardrobe, for anyone who loves fish or collects figural vintage costume jewelry. This color is hard to find in Jonette’s fish and will look great with almost any outfit you choose to wear it with.
