Vintage STW Bavaria Germany Plate

This is a beautiful piece with a Love Story pattern, figural scenes in transfer and reproduced from the work of Fragonard, a French Rococo-era artist from the late 1700's. whose work has been reproduced by in countless factories and decorating studios,  This plate was produced between 1940 -1950.

Description:

• Vintage Courting cabinet plate
• Man and Lady Dancing
• Trim includes other images of man and lady courting (this was one plate in what was a set of 3)?
• Gold encrusted piping around all scenes
• STW Bavaria Germany Royal Vienna Style
• Fragonard Love Story Handled Plate 

Measurements:

• 11-1/2" long from the outer tips of the handle
• 11" long across the non-handled side of the plate

Condition:

• Excellent Vintage Condition
• No stains, chips, cracks, scratches, or signs of repair
