This listing is for 3 rose brooches or pins that belonged to my Mom. These are delicate and feminine and would be a perfect fit on a lapel of a jacket or a dress. They are probably from the 1960s. The red roses have a realistic appearance due to the layering of the petals. All of them are unsigned. I'll describe each one below.
This is a vintage three dimensional silver tone brooch or pin with marcasite petals and a textured stem with a metal silky like red rose center. Measures approximately 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide. Has a roll over safety clasp on the back. Textured silver tone metal on front and back. In excellent vintage condition. Slight magnetic attraction on the leaves.
Pink enamel painted on the silver tone metal rose and base with 2 clear rhinestones on the leaf. This long stem flower measures approximately 1 1/2 inches long and ¾ of an inch wide. It has a cut out design and a rollover safety clasp on back. Excellent vintage condition. Magnet is not attracted to this.
Gold tone stem and leaves with red metal flower top. Has a C closure pin on the back. Textured stippled gold tone metal back. The red paint has worn off a tiny bit on the edges of the layered petals so a little of the gold shows through, but it almost looks as if it was made that way to highlight the edges of the flower. You don't really see it without magnification. It measures approximately 1 5/8 inches long and 1 inch wide. This is in very good vintage condition. A magnet is attracted to it.
The roses would be a great addition to your collection of vintage flower brooches. Perfect for any rose gardener.
