This is an unsigned pair of vintage handcrafted earrings that I believe are by Chipita. The designer, Joan Eagle, (also referred to as Chipita Eagle) is Native American and located in Colorado. She has been creating jewelry since the early 1970s and her earrings are made using natural gemstones, crystals, brass, metallic beads and metal ornaments. The top portion of these earrings have a deep black oval stone cabochon surrounded by little hand stitched black beads. The back of each of the earrings is off white creamy leather with hand stitching around the edges. Dangling from the oval top piece are strands full of iridescent beads, crystals, in a variety of shapes and sizes. There are two long black plastic pieces that hang down on each earring and in between are three black circular oval plastic rings.

These are in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is some slight age discoloration of the glue around the outer beaded edge, but you only see it with magnification. Each dangling earring measures approximately 4 inches in length and 1inch across at the widest point. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

These would make a great addition to your vintage hand crafted earring collection and they are becoming increasingly hard to find. They are a one of a kind, unique creation with a funky Bohemian look and are a form of wearable art. These would make an elegant statement for any evening out with that little black dress.
