This is a great looking vintage Mexican sterling silver and crushed colorful natural gemstones brooch/pin and pendant. It is a bold figural piece of jewelry in the shape of a Mayan or Aztec Warrior Face. It has a loop or bale at the top so it can be worn as a pendant on a chain or as a pin. It is stamped on the back “925” and has partial marks. One would read “Hecho En Mexico” if you could read the full mark, the other was probably the Silversmith’s mark, but you can’t read it. It measures approximately 2 ¼ inches wide and 1 ¾ inches tall. It weighs .75 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 21.26 grams.

This brooch is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished it as many people prefer the patina that only comes with age. Depending on your own taste, I will leave any polishing up to you; you can keep it in the same condition or polish it. The roll over clasp closure mechanism works fine and is fully functioning and secure, although the pin itself has a slight wobble to it. There is a small circle on the back where a label had originally been. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe. The necklace chain in the photo is NOT included.

This would be perfect for anyone who loves Mexican jewelry. It is sure to be a conversation piece and will look great with any outfit you choose to wear it with. It is a wearable piece of artwork.
