These handmade copper earrings resembling bird wings are wire wrapped with red faceted glass beads. The wing frames are formed and hammered by hand to strengthen and flatten the ends. Then wings are carefulle wrapped with fine gauge wire and red faceted glass beads to form an abstract piece of art. The ear wire is also handmade out of copper wire. This is a unique and artistic design sure to get you noticed.

Copper - I use natural 100% copper wire to create copper jewelry items. It is not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
