This is an unusual brooch or pin featuring a Native American tribal dancer. It looks like etched wood, but could be a type of pressboard. It is painted in earth tones, browns greens tans and blues on a cream colored background with a dark brown border. It is fairly lightweight. It measures approximately 2 inches tall by 1 ½ inches wide.

This brooch is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is a darkened corner on the back of the brooch, but it does not go through the brooch and appears to just be a discoloration of the material and not damage. The silver tone metal roll over clasp closure works fine and is secure, there is dried glue around the edges where it was mounted. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would be perfect for anyone who loves handcrafted Southwestern style jewelry.
