This is a colorful eye catching dual sided folding paper fan featuring a woman wearing a green dress with pink flowers, a white pearl necklace and a large floppy red sun hat. She is resting her head on her hand in a pensive mood. She is next to a jungle cat, either a leopard or a cheetah in yellows and oranges. The spots on the cat are in the shape of blue flowers and the cat's eyelids are blue. It is signed on the white section of the fan “J.P.”. The wood ribs of the fan are a mottled maroon color. It has an Art Deco look to it. The design is on both sides of the fan. When closed the fan is 12 inches long. When opened it is approximately 18 inches across. I have been unable to find another one like it anywhere.

What a fun gift this would be for any member of the Red Hat Society who wear red hats and purple outfits. This group of women that are over 50 enjoy living life to the fullest. There are chapters all over the world. You will be the center of attention at the next tea party, birthday celebration, or cruise. Perfect for those hot summer days to help stay cool. The bright and vivid colors would provide a delightful accent to any outfit. It would also look great as a wall decoration adding a touch of color to an Art Deco style décor.

It is in excellent condition, never used (I marked it as used because it is not a new item). The green patterned box shows a bit of wear from being stored. The box has a gold label on it “Made in China” and the number J13-9A00 in red on the top of the box.
