The Company that made these metal pieces is well know for the aluminum pieces it makes.  They are either in a silver finish or a pewter finish. This one I think is more of the silver finish.  There are reposse flowers on the top of the lid that surround the handle/knob for removing the lid and the bowl has a design around it that surrounds the lid when the lid is on the piece.  It is 15 inches in diameter and very heavy. The Company Name is on the bottom of the bowl and I believe a date of 1974. It would be lovely as a centerpiece on your dining table or a sideboard or server. Our normal shipping is in 3 business days but this one may require a little extra time to receive it because we will need to use some creative shipping or delivery due to its weight and size. It is unique because it doesn't tarnish or dent.
