Bonanzle Up 2010

On the weekend of August 7th, 2010, Bonanzler's from all over the US gathered in Kansas City, Missouri for the Second Annual Bonanzle UP.  Judy Oglesby of bluepennylady kicked off the event with an informative presentation on Google Attributes.   John "ColderIce" Lawson of ThirdPowerOutlet followed and delivered the keynote that highlighted, "The Future of ECommerce."  John's presentation was well received and paired well with one of our longstanding goals which is to empower sellers and then move out of the way and let them run their business as they see fit.  After lunch, Bill delivered his presentation; "Bonanzle, Past, Present, and Most Importantly -The Future."  My favorite part of Bill's presentation was the comic strip he created at the opening which illustrated Bonanzle's beginning though others would argue that their favorite part was when Bill made it clear that Bonanzle's primary focus will continue to be smaller sellers who have helped make Bonanzle what it is today.  Next up was Tom Halfacer of Bonanzle who presented; "Running a Maintenance-Free Booth (and other tricks)."  Lastly, Phaedra Stockstill of attheboutique presented; "Marketing Booth Camp."  We also had a relaxed Q&A/Roundtable event shortly thereafter.  

An event like Bonanzle Up would not be made possible without the hard work of Judy Oglesby and Phaedra Stockstill.  Judy and Phaedra spearheaded the entire Bonanzle Up event.  They selected a venue, held logo contests, organized sponsors (thank you sponsors), speakers (thank you speakers), as well as many other "behind the scenes" tasks that made Bonanzle Up 2010 a truly awesome event.  A big thank you to you both, we could not have done it without you!  And also a big thank you to Jeremy and Dale (super spouses) who supported them both along the way.

Like Christmas in July, Bonanzle Up is a clear indicator that the Bonanzle Community is truly extraordinary!  I cannot begin to tell you how motivating it is for us as a team to work side by side with all of you each day.  We really enjoyed meeting and socializing with everyone.  Can anyone say "Vegas" in 2011?
