Super nice condition. I am guessing the beading is plastic?they are different size and on a mesh fabric? the large are only half bead the small are full rounds. the frame is white..do not know what the material is.
There is a Handmade in Hong Kong tag inside the small pocket. Anyone have any ideas as to the age? Materials used?

It is indeed vintage and is from the 50-60’s. Those bags have some great hand beading on them and are getting harder to find. I used to see them at thrift stores all the time about 10 years ago. These days, not so much.

The bag I have like yours has a tag just like the photo. There isn’t anything else on it like a makers name. It just says “handmade in Hong Kong”.

Hi Thank you phoenix and barntiques! I tried “teasing” the label but don’t thing there is anything written under. think someone tried it before. Stitches a bit broken bu t still cannot see all. But think by moving it about all that is on there is Hong Kong. What would I be looking for? Thanks again!

I, too have two very similar to this an the tags only say “Hand Made in Hong Kong”. They are very pretty and as Pheonix says these are getting very scarce. Do a search [URL removed] Vintage Beaded purse Hong Kong" and search for images only. You will see some lovely ones.
