Hello,
I am thinking of selling here instead of eBay because of their policy concerning SNAD. Their policy is extremely draconian against sellers. Buyers can automatically open a case and claim whatever they want. They don’t have to provide proof or even respond to a seller wanting to resolve the situation. If eBay steps in, they nearly 100% favor the buyer. The seller then is forced to make a full refund plus pay return shipping. The seller also is dinged on its rating and possibly negative feedback.
What is Bonanza’s policy on alleged SNAD returns? Thanks!

a description, but not a detailed policy, is described [URL removed]

Regardless the bonanza policy, I would expect the overriding consideration to be toward the PayPal or Amazon Pay policy / terms / protection extended to purchasers. So when selling here, same as elsewhere, I expect we online sellers don’t have much opportunity, nor hope, to defend against any such claims. FWIW, across more than a decade, I’ve never been victimized by a SNAD claim.

For the most part..Bonanza does not get involved with policies between buyers and sellers here…unless there is a high volume of complaints sent to them from your customers.
Since all returns are handled between you and your buyer and your policies are clearly stated, then everything is deferred to the payment processor (ie PayPal or Amazon Pay (no longer available to new members)). Bonanza does not handle your SNAD
So if a person opens a SNAD with PayPal..you will have to provide all necessary information to paypal and defer to their judgement.
As I said, Bonanza does not dictate your every move.
They depend on you to be an honest seller, who will abide by the site as well as your own policies..when you do not and complaints sent to support are showing this, then they will step in.
