Does anyone know of a way to make the returns easier?

The procedure for accepting returns is pretty straight-forward on [URL removed]

If you don’t already do this, make sure that your refunded buyers get an email indicating that refunds on purchases made by credit card (directly or via PayPal) make take some time to show up on their credit card statements and that the timing is out of your control. Buyers who paid with PayPal funds are credited immediately once you process the refund.

I think returns are pretty easy on Bonanza. For me personally, I’ve had very few, so I wouldn’t want to automate them. And depending on the price of your items, you’ll want to inspect the returned merchandise before issuing a full refund anywhay, and that is a manual process.

If you have a high return volume, then it might be better to spend time understanding why the returns are high and fixing that (if it is an issue), rather than on automating returns. Of course, I understand that depends on your sales volume – even a small percentage of returns can be time-consuming if your overall volume is very high. But I don’t think that’s a problem for many Bonanza sellers…

I agree with your comments. The O.P. sells clothing items and I believe that this category probably has the highest rate of return in online sales. Why? Size issues, actual color doesn’t match online monitor color, and then there’s the “rental” factor where people wear the clothes and then return.
