hey,
If I will open a Bonanza webstore and edit the products on my booth will it automatically update the products on my store?
In addition, do you recommend this webstore or do you find another platform better?
thanks

I’ve had a Bonanza webstore for about a year now. What attracted me most was the feature that your Bonanza booth items automatically are listed in your webstore. That’s a huge feature with no relisting. You also share a lot of booth features like discounts which carry over to your webstore. If I receive an order on Bonanza, when I mail out that item, I send a 10% off coupon if they order on my Bonanza webstore with my domain, bargainbuffet.co. However in both instances the customers have used the 10% off coupon in my Bonanza booth, so essentially, not only did they get the 10% off intended for my Bonanza webstore but I also paid the Bonanza booth final value fee based on 13%. I checked with Bonanza and they said currently there is no way to post a coupon just for a Bonanza webstore but they were working on it. That was a few months ago. I sell a wide variety of items and on my Bonanza webstore, there are limitations on the number of catagories once you have a certain number. The remaining catagories are then listed under “Everything Else”. I struggled with this and decided to do custom catagories and sub-catagories but there is only a certain amount of space on the Bonanza webstore templates. I do like multiple payment features like PayPal and Amazon Payments and Bonanza’s shipping feature. Most of my items are based on calculated shipping and it’s so easy to print labels.Besides the ease of listing on Bonanza, I do like the Offer feature as well. With that said, I have been researching 3rd party website builders and hosting as a replacement for my Bonanza webstore and a couple additional domains I own. All 3 domains have different number of items and product types with one which I am about to finish up on with only 6 car window stickers/decals, dogsafe.org. I started out with the free trial on Ecwid and almost immediately upgraded to their $15 Venture program. The free trial is for 10 items maximum but I wanted the additional features the upgrade offered like a business Facebook and Instagram store, coupons, a blog and if you go with Square as your payment processor, an interface for gift certificates. Also another reason I upgraded to the $15 Ecwid Venture program, Ecwid sent a 20% discount for life if I upgraded by December 10th. So that monthly fee is only $12.
For a possible replacement for my Bonanza webstore, I most likely will go with 3dcart. For $19 a month here are some of the features you get— Unlimited products, link your domain, Picnik Photo Editing, International Checkout, Make an Offer, Wish List, Google Translate, Pay with Amazon, Coupons, Gift Certificates, Facebook Shop, Square POS, Paypal, ApplePay, Amazon Pay, Gift Wrapping, CSV inport/export, eBay integration, set up your own Affiliate Program, calculated shipping…..all Free and included in the $19 per month. They also have video tutorials which are very easy to follow.
Previously I’ve tried WordPress and although there are a lot of templates and plugins, I spent way too long on setting up my website. One can save a lot of money by using WordPress but you also need to get a hosting plan to use it. I know my limitations and interests and it is definitely not dealing with website details which I would have to spend more time on when my efforts could be spent listing more resulting in an additional sale which could pay for my monthly fees on Ecwid and 3dcart.
All of us have different website needs based on number of items, shipping, payment processors and features. I still think Bonanza webstores can very well satisfy a lot of requirements. Bonanza’s webstore meets general needs and their main focus/business is not building webstores with features I described above. Their focus is on the Bonanza marketplace and they do provide a lot of value with the free booths and features offered. I apologize for the length of this but have seriously tried to make the Bonanza webstore work for me. I am also a Bonanza Gold Member. Bonanza still offers a lot of value to us in their Booths. I’m confident their webstores can/could still be beneficial to a lot who need a webstore.

Yes, your products will automatically be updated. IMO, the pricing and the fact that there is NO maintenance required (compared to other platforms), makes Bonanza Webstores a great buy.

I have used it similarly to bargainbuffet4you.
I place notes for a “special coupon” for my webstore www.gravity-video.com which is actually the coupon I offer to customers who leave feedback for their order. I sell enough from there to pay the bill by doing that.
It is a great way to have a website and no extra work to keep inventory updated.
