Hello,
I have written Bonanza 3 times with no response other than the automated one. My customer has moved and would like me to send the item to her new address. The problem is that her address has not be changed on Pay Pal which is the method she used to pay for the item. I am concerned I will not be covered if I send it to a different address. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sheila

Hi @astitchoflove. Sorry for the negative experience. You are correct to not ship to another address other than what PayPal has listed. It really comes down to how comfortable you feel with the buyer and shipping the item. You can also check with PayPal and see what they would recommend. I am sure they have this come up often. If you do check with PayPal, please update this post and let us know what they recommended.
FWIW, I searched support to see why your requests had not been responded to and I could not find a single email. Please make sure you are sending your support requests to support@bonanza.com or to https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/contact_us

It is completely up to you..and how comfortable you feel about it…
I have had no problem doing this on occasion especially during the holidays.
Truthfully, since I purchase gifts quite often and send to my numerous neices and nephews…I request this quite often and many sites actually have the option of entering a shipping address different from the billing address.
However, she really should update her address at paypal…simple enough for her to do before you ship…

While I can understand this can happen, I see this as a RED Flag. Buyer says she MOVED (and not shipping item as a gift to someone else). Then Buyer needs to UPDATE Paypal with the correct address BEFORE PAYING so it shows up correctly. Too much fraud possibility’s. If the buyer wants to pay with a US Postal Money Order ( or cash ) then ship it to an override address but not with an electronic payment from Paypal. Otherwise you wont be covered and open yourself to buyer saying they never got the item (at the registered Paypal address) or that their Paypal account was hacked. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck

I’ve done it as a drop ship service and never had any problems, but its probable that it could.

I have had this happen also and lost the sale because of it. I would not ship to a different address than the one supplied on Paypal. It is entirely up to you on the risk you are willing to take for the possible monetary loss of your item.
