Have had my shop almost 2 yrs now with almost 700 items and have only made 2 sales, I use item traits and have very nice items and promote them all the time, I even won a turbo traffic package from bonanza for the month of June… not sure how a turbo traffic package brings in less views than I even had before how does that work? Is that what I get if I pay for a turbo traffic package is nothing? What does bonanza do with the money since turbo traffic packages are broken? Not sure how I can open a shop on a different platform only list a few items and start making multiple sales the very 1st day but can absolutely kill myself working on bonanza for 2 yrs and get 1 sale per year are you kidding me? Why are people on bonanza if they don’t make sales, have I completely been missing something?? I’m not even a newbie this is ridiculous… sorry but you can see why I am pretty upset, you would be too! Am I in the twilight zone over here or does no one sell on bonanza?? The heck is going on I am so totally confused is my stuff ugly or something, I sell fine jewelry at very good prices, all Sterling silver and 16k Gold Plated jewelry all 100% hypo-allergenic and perfect for sensative skin so why no sales and why did I have a turbo traffic package with 0 traffic.. starting to feel like I am being scammed by bonanaza… I need answers, also I am getting other newer bonanza sellers messaging me asking if no one buys on bonanza and why I only have 1 feedback when I’ve been on bonanza 2 yrs and had the turbo traffic package because bonanza listed me with other winners that won the turbo traffic package contest, the heck do I say to them?? no I was scammed by bonanza? I don’t have answers for them and I need some too this is getting ridiculous! Does anyone actually sell on here?

This is an official Bonanza response.
Not having sales is frustrating and I am sorry that is your experience. I think if you ask a question of “Does anyone make sales here” that you are going to get two answers, either yes or no which might not be very helpful to you. I think what you are after is how you can improve your sales.
I had a very quick look at your booth and the first thing that stood out is the watermark on your main image. That is not allowed in Google Shopping and I am sure that is hurting your visibility on search engines. So long as you understand that, then you can keep the watermarks, but do know that you are losing out on sales because of it. I understand that you have the same watermark on your images on eBay and it is likely that you have more success there but eBay also has a larger base of organic buyers (meaning buyers who visit their site directly).
Another thing I noticed is that you are listing the same items on eBay (which is fine) but also at the same prices. So if a buyer comes to Google Shopping, searches for an item that happens to be yours, they are going to get two results, 1 from eBay and 1 from Bonanza. They are both the same price. The buyer will go to eBay 9 times out of 10 because they are more familiar with the eBay name vs Bonanza. So you are inadvertently driving buyers to eBay instead of Bonanza. You should adjust your prices on Bonanza to take into consideration that Bonanza charges less (you can do this in bulk via the eBay importer, by selecting a % off of the imported items).
The good news is that your titles are awesome and so are your descriptions. I love that you state that you make all the items yourself. That is very unique and it is something that buyers should know.

You are not alone. I have been here since 2013 and have had 4 sales. There are people who sell a lot on here, but I’ not one of them. I advertise on Facebook and Twitter everyday and I post my items on Pinterest. Some days I will have over 200 views, then other days it’s less than 20. I stay because it’s free and I figure some day, someone is going to find what they are looking for in my booth. Good Luck

This site definitely makes you do the work, but, that is good! Yes, you have to constantly advertise, upgrade etc. But, you have to with any business and at least in my case it pays off. I usually average around 20 sales a month here with more during the holiday seasons & give or take during the slow summer months. Now, if you are comparing Bonanza to eBay, eBay is of course going to win as it is much more well known, problem is all their fees. I have sold on many platforms since 1998 and I gotta say as far as simplicity and price, Bonanza has won hands down. Yes, I get frustrated sometimes with no sales, however I also sell on many other venues and just direct them here. I myself add new items daily, constantly upgrading pics and descriptions, run sales, advertise thru social media and at least 3 times a year purchase the Turbo Traffic pack as well as have a couple people here on this site advertise for me. If you are doing better on other sites just use Bonanza as your showcase and direct your customers here with a coupon code or discount. As you say you are not a newbie. I am sure you know all the online sales ideas. Good Luck to you!

I don’t know how you can make any money or sales here I just discovered that after they show your offerings they pull up their partners offerings as well, Ebay may have a lot of sellers but they are constantly undermining the other sellers. If I wanted to compete with Ebay I would just list on their site which I have done in the past and have a very hard time selling there because they are always underbidding each other, I canceled my membership here, I’ll stay with Amazon.
