Bonanza has always stated that it is the responsibility of the seller to collect and forward state taxes where it is required. In your Seller Settings, there is a place for you to set up tax tables so that you can collect sales taxes. From there, it is up to you to forward to state treasuries as necessary.

Don’t collect that sales tax and not hand it over, that isprison time.
If you plan on not paying that tax do not collect it.
I suggest that you follow tax law and if you choose not to at least do it knowing the consequences when caught.
A fine and penalty is one thing but whe married to a prison sentence it is most likely not a risk you want to take
