I’m a Bonanza newbie and would like to import my products using an inventory file. I have ads written in HTML that work fine if I use the “add an item” page. When I attempt to copy and paste (using Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V) into the csv file, it pastes to several lines instead of keeping all the code in one field in the description column. Any tips or hints from you HTML gurus out there? I have over 800 products I would like to list. Thank you in advance.

I’m probably not much help, and definitely not a guru, but it sounds like that’s an excel file issue as far as getting items to stay in one field. I know there is a way to do it, but I don’t know how. I’m sure you could google or bing around and find an answer, though.
As far as importing html…I’ve done it, but it’s been so long and everytime I do, I have to dig around old files to find one that worked to figure out how I did it. All I can tell you right now is that your html might have to be in single quotes? I’m not sure, but it’s something like that. And make sure to save as csv before you import.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
