you used to be able to mark items sold after reserving them but with all the changes that option went away

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi there!

Hope your friend enjoys the item :) If you run into this situation in the future, the easiest thing to do will be to place the item on reserve. To do this, go to Selling > Batch Edit Items. Under “Item Basics” you’ll see Set Status and there will be a drop down where you can click “reserved”. Find the item you want to reserve, click the small box next to the picture and then click the green Apply Changes button. When your friend is ready to buy the item, you can move it back for sale.

In looking at my booth and looking under batch edit, I do not see a way to mark a listing as sold.

It sounds like your friend did not find the product on Bonanza, so Bonanza would not have anything to do with the FVFs. I would put the listing on reserve until your friend picks it up from you. Then when your friend picks it up, I would just delete it. Or if you plan on having another exact duplicate available, I’d leave it on reserve and then when you are ready to relist it, take it off of reserve.

[URL removed] I hope you do not mind, but I took a look at one of the pictures in your booth. It shows it as being framed and it is breathtaking. It is the bird that has the jewels on it. The listing did not say the dimensions and whether it comes framed or not. It is out of my budget (but well worth the price), I just wanted to let you know so that it does not get passed up by a shopper because the dimensions are not in there and the info on the frame :)

Sometimes, when a buyer makes a purchase at one marketplace and then contacts me asking for a second item listed on some other marketplace (to be send to the same address), due to a big time zone difference, I reserve the second painting just for Her/Him adding in the title a part of the nick or name, [URL removed]
“RESERVED for b__lqyxg…” (Bonanza),
“Reserved for ED-02Apr…” (Tictail),
“RESERVED Listing (j…3)!…” (eBay),
etc.

You have lovely items in Your booth.
Good luck!

I used to put a “sign” across the first picture of the item or put in a “picture” that says Hold for XXXXXX and remove the item from the google feed and put on reserve if they was going to be more than one day before purchase.

Then I send the link to the buyer and make sure the item was active in the time frame they wished to purchase

Never had any problem with this, but the site is so large now that some may not respect the HOLD sign on an item.

Also if it is a pick-up…just reserve it and then mark as sold in batch edit after it is gone…
