How do you edit an item which has a bonanza dropdown description.

For example, I’ve listed a fur vest, but I inadvertently selected “Beaver” from the dropdown. However, the fur type the I needed is “Goat” but it’s not on the dropdown. How can I remove Beaver from the description. Is it possible for Bonanza to add “Other” to this dropdown? Thanks for your response.

go to fur type

Type in the word Goat when the blue link appears, click on it and goat will be in the fur type..

It will also remove the previous selection

You should be able to type in your preferred value for that dropdown (eg, “Goat”), then you’ll see a popup where you have to select “Add ‘Goat’ to the XYZ category” (where XYZ is whatever the category/tag is). That should do it.

You can access the edit item page by hovering your mouse over the “Selling” link in the upper left corner of any page then selecting “Add or edit items” from the drop down. Once you’re on the “Add or edit items” page, simply click the “Edit” link on the tool menu that shows above each item. [URL removed]

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
