No traffic/views till now ( 217 items, 16days)

Hi! I just started here for about 16 days, but my booth had no traffic/view (only one order is placed by my friend).
I have chosen the 19% advertising program and bonanza’s gold membership.
When I searched for some keywords like band ring, I found it difficult to find me. ( I don’t find my product on the first 50 pages). When searching for the full name, I can find my product.
am I doing something wrong here or Is my product title not very suitable?

Yes, you should always find your item when searching using the full title. After all, that is a 100% match. However, searching for something like “band ring” is going to return LOTS of items that also use those words in their titles (or even descriptions if that option is invoked). Of course, the more words a shopper adds into the search field, the narrower the displayed matches become. The problem with that is that if you don’t have all of those search words in your title, your item may not be displayed at all. To help combat that, make sure that those potential search words are included in your description.

The most difficult thing about selling online is using the right title to make your item discoverable without bringing hundreds of other items into the search results. Personally, I believe that jewelry and clothing are the hardest categories to list in because of the difficulty of creating a unique title that potential BUYERS WILL ENTER INTO A SEARCH FIELD.

In this item (https://www.bonanza.com/listings/Handmade-Chain-Bracelet-Sterling-Silver/740048829), your title says “Handmade Chain Bracelet, Sterling Silver….”, but you do not mention any of the following words in your [URL removed] chain, sterling. And, when you use a hyphenated version of “hand-made”.

Also, you may want to exclude the commas in your titles. That will be better for Google Shopping policies. Having your listings meet Google guidelines and optimizing your titles and descriptions needs to be done before you can take advantage of the Bonanza advertising — especially at the 19% level.

Maybe not a big deal, but when you are listing a ring, it’s a good idea to state size in the tiitle – or adjustable. I think size matters for rings.

It’s my understanding that Google does not allow punctuation in titles (i.e. commas)and will not give you exposure due to this violation. Also as a new seller I would suggest a 9% ad program and rather invest in a $25.00 Turbo Pack- They do make a difference. But correct your titles first or it won’t matter. Make sure your keywords appear in the first 125 characters of the description as that it what Bonanza send to Google. Good luck!

Really appreciate your suggestion!!! I am correcting based on your suggestion! Thanks again!

Do not forget about the tinier details when it comes to jewelry….like keywords for the type of clasps…adjectives such as “bold” jewelry….“simple” ring…etc.

Like for earrings, I really do not like the post earrings. My most favorite style is the lever back. If any of those, that is a good keyword to use…just as an example. Plus, I really do not like a spring clasp closure and instead, I like fold-over clasps.

U r welcome

EmpressDepot says: July 25, 2019

I should mention that I meant to say the tinier details would be good to put in your titles such as what type of claps…especially seeing as how ladies do prefer certain clasps over other, just for example.

It is my understanding that on a site-wide Bonanza search, our words used in our description are not searchable….only our titles and our traits. On Google shopping is where our descriptions are searchable along with your titles. Also, some of the traits we will fill out here on Bonanza transfer..

EmpressDepot says: July 25, 2019

..transfer over as attributes on Google shopping, making the keywords we place into our traits as being searchable on Google shopping. For example on a trait we fill out here on Bonanza that becomes an attribute…take brand for instance…

EmpressDepot says: July 25, 2019

Say you are listing a ring made by Avon. Avon would be the brand. So you fill this in when listing here on Bonanza and it is then saved as a trait. BUT since Google shopping requires products to have a brand, this Avon trait that you gave it would cross over to Google shopping as an attribute…

I apologize, I really need more space for writing in order to give full/clear explanations. If you would like more information and are unclear on some of what I have explained, feel free to email me :)

Hate to say but I truly believe Bonanza is just as bad as etsy, it is all about buying this and buying that in order to be seen anywhere. It truly is frustrating!

[URL removed] – Movies are a very good way of entertainment. Most of the people watch at least one movie every month. There is a very obvious reason why we all as humans like all these motion pictures this much and let me explain it to you.
