[Unresolved] Shipping not calculating for an international order

I have never had issues before calculating shipping costs with international orders. I have free shipping to US but shipping must be paid for outside of the country. I have an order and the shipping is blank saying “cannot be calculated”.
I am going to have to call the post office, making my customer wait, as nothing is showing up. I turned off the offer feature as I had only been accepting orders to Canada outside the US, but this customer is wanting to ship elsewhere. I am going to accept their order, but it was still calculating nothing for shipping despite this. What am I doing wrong?

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hello TrinityofLight,

Welcome to the Bonanza Help Community,

In addition to the information already provided by other sellers in this post,

To set calculated shipping, visit the batch editor and click on the “Shipping” tab to the left side of the toolbox at the top of the page.
Click “Add international shipping service,” then select the “Calculated” option.
Choose your shipping carrier from the drop-down menu.
Bonanza currently supports calculated shipping for USPS, UPS or FedEx.
Select the locations you’re willing to ship to, then select the items you’re able to ship to those destinations and apply the change.

Here is information from our Help pages about international shipping that was previously posted by TrinketBox

Thank you for the response, however, I already tried to go through the batch editor, it still refuses to calculate despite this. I contacted support a few days ago and am waiting to hear back.

Perhaps Bonanza is having issues with calculating the shipping to other countries. However, you can always use PayPal directly to determine the shipping costs and create a shipping label.

I can’t seem to find a calculator on Paypal anymore.

TrinityofLight says: May 30, 2020

@Bumblebeasvariety I did go through their website, but some of these are also an estimate only. I was going to send this as my own package and not flatrate, but I find flatrate may be cheaper and easier. I still cannot pinpoint on what shipment class would be used based on the site alone.

A weight has to be entered for the item to calculate shipping and there is not an option to add weight under free shipping…

However, if you set it up in the listing [URL removed]

I will ship to the selected countries calculated by USPS

There is the option to set the weights for calculated shipping.

Also items shipping internationally can be set in the batch edit by setting countries and costs (or calculated). You will also have to select which items the shipping will apply

Here is more help on setting up international shipping

Also for future reference…here is the USPS domestic and international rates (look under Commercial base to get the same costs as PayPal will charge). You will need to find out which price group each country is in…

I use this to set up international as flat rate..since calculated rates are retail and not commericial rate base

Yes, I have set a weight under shipping to other countries under the free shipping to US, as well as caluclated by usps. I also tried through the batch editor to see if that would work. Nothing works to provide an estimate. I tried all this previously. I have done this before for shipping

TrinityofLight says: May 31, 2020

It simply isn’t working now in this instance.

I do know that calc shipping international at one time did not work, and truthfully I have never gotten it to work..I do use flat rate based on commerical base…maybe having same issues…(aka Trinketbox)

If you are using batch edit, you will have to clear all other international shipping previously set up to input new international information..or it will not work
