What’s up

Just thought I would list a few items here to see if this site is dead or alive
I hope to list more soon, but won’t waste much time unless it’s productive for me

I find when I post items on pinterest and use the booth promotions (for the experts here) my none views jump up to 2000+ and sales start – but you have to work on it daily to “show” your items. I think after a while – it is best to re-list a item that has been sitting and have it appear as “just listed” – the cycle gets the item out in front of the people again!

It’s very much alive – but we do need to pull more buyers in, especially FEEBay buyers. A lot depends upon how much you put into your booth here. Some people promote with social networking and say it helps.

I think there’s a ton of potential here if we sellers could just get people out of the “amazon/FEEbay” mentality. I do well on FEEbay but would rather do that well here, so I’m working on a way to direct people here that have purchased from me “there”. The store fees are going up again, they’re horribly UN-friendly to sellers, practically making us give our stuff away or worse, rent it!

Okay, enough of the FEEbay rant, sorry. In short, if you’re willing to put some work into this you should make sales but Bonz doesn’t have the built-in buyer base as some “other” sites, so it is a bit more challenging. That said, they – Bonanza – have been working on getting more traffic from various sources. In the end, it really has to be a personal decision that has so many variables it’s really impossible for any one person to tell you just what to do…

Bonanza is a good site but buyers won’t flock to a site that isn’t willing to advertise itself. Sellers can’t do it all themselves and when it is left up to the sellers to do all the promotion & advertising, eBay & Amazon will always be on top.

Bonanza’s potential is huge, but if sellers have to rely so much more on social media to bring in the traffic there is a lot ot productive time that should be channeled to other aspects of the selling business.

Hey they should have a commercial on tv that resembles the old bonanza cast taking out ebay and amazon as the bad guys
It would deffinetly get the attention of many sellers and buyers on those sites.
They would just need to research the most common problems buyers have on those sites use them as the bad guys in the commercial that the old bonanza gang takes out.
If they do a tv ad they better be prepared for the onslaught of visitors or the site will crash and the momentum would be lost.
The impact of a tv ad would be immediate for all.
