Search the Internet for public domain pictures. Those are completely free to download and use. Keep in mind that royalty-free images are different. Usually, you would pay a one-time fee to “purchase”/download, but you usually won’t have to pay any further fees to use it. However, there may be terms of use that restrict how/where you can use the image.

I often use pixabay.com and pexels.com. Also openclipart.org. Freepix.com is ok, lovely stock of images that they create, but I find the site somewhat confusing, because often they require some sort of attribution. The best sites offer images for personal AND commercial use, any kind, with no attribution required.
Good luck!

- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
