Why does bonanza have such terrible ratings on search engines ?

If you type in a search in google items from Bonanza seem to never show up. Example, if you type in Vintage ashtrays not one bonanza listing or even a Bonanza ad in the first 10 pages. I sell on ebay also and transferred my listings to Bonanza to see if this is a better selling opportunity. I have sold 275 items on ebay and not ONE on Bonanza seems like they have no kind of following whatsoever, you cannot find anything listed in Bonanza on search engines. Yes you do have to pay a little more on ebay but 275 sales to zero give me a break. What’s up.

I feel your pain. I’m just as frustrated as you and I want to phase Ebay out completely but that’s not going to happen if traffic doesn’t pic up here. You do have promote your items here and work alittle more. As for search engines, the only thing I can think of that it’s just not that popular yet.

Hopefully, someone with SEO knowledge can shed some light on this.

There is a serious issue here when it comes to SEO this site has none.

Just a quick question, do you have your listings going to Google Shopping from Bonanza? If not, let us know and we can show you how to do that from within Bonanza. Sellers on Bonanza have a better chance of getting sales via Google shopping. In this case, Bonanza is great about giving us the tools…

the tools we need for Google Shopping.

There are attributes that have to be applied to our listings, which depends on what category they fall under. Having attributes set up right will give our listings a better chance on showing up in Google Shopping. If you need help with the attributes, let us know :)

Don’t feel bad – Bonanza has terrible search results period. I can’t even search on Bonanza using the Bonanza search bars. And there have been others. Contacted support and they say they can do nothing. Norton spent over 2 hours checking out my computer, checked with my ISP and with a computer expert and they all say it’s a Bonanza problem. But Bonanza has their head in the sand as usual when there is problems. I can sell here but can’t shop – impossible to shop without search. No wonder sales are so bad here. Strange thing is I can search everyplace else and anyplace else on the internet. All the other site search engines work.

Probably because they don’t advertise the site. We are supposed to generate our own traffic. If they advertised like eBay, Poshmark and others, they and we would get better results.

Ebay could be paying google to hide Bonanza listings. I got sick of google a number years ago and stopped using it as my search engine.
