Why have sales flat-lined on bonanza?

My sales have gone down 83% in the past month. It seems almost every sale I have made is from a previous buyer. What has happened to cause Bonanza to flat-line? I am making plenty of sales on Ebay but nothing here? Wondering what is going on?

You really might want to raise that question towards the CEO Quincy Faison and ask for a sustainable/convincing answer. There are dozens of sellers sharing your concern.

My gut tells me that the business doesn’t have any money, which means that most advertising has ended. The vercado thing probably cost them a bundle and they have virtually no one who even uses it. The $20 in listing fees didn’t work to raise revenue because instead of paying, most just dropped under 50 listings or left. Those who didn’t leave immediately were China dropshippers who have now left because of the de minimus tariffs going away and no longer pay. The mandatory bonz shipping that had to be canceled didn’t raise money either. The site has broken links all over that redirect to the home page now too. I had the feeling that the bCredits was a “free” way to get traffic but I don’t see it working either… would be a good concept if the site still had the active community seller base but not anymore.
I was active on a site called Wagglepop from 2006 to 2009 where it started strong with about 1000 sellers paying $10 a month. It was a great place to sell too, but the owner mismanaged it, failed to update it when needed, and wasted money on things nobody wanted. It shut down when he couldn’t find a buyer. I really hope that doesn’t happen here.
Every suggestion I have made for 3 years has either not been published or not responded to, so I don’t think anyone is really steering the ship.

It’s also the listings. Along with Bonanza, all of us move together to get traffic to the booths. Those people in turn search the site. Because there are reduced listings due to the listing fee, the site has less product out and the site becomes not worth spending time on as people can see it’s not a competitive marketplace.

I sell about $140k on eBay and about 30K on Etsy i have sold 5 items over the last 5 years time to say goodbye to Bonanza. They won’t even consider a phone app.

becasue Quincy owes the previous owner lots of money that he has not paid when he bought this site so he is being sued. So yeah this place is drying up and hopefully it wont be shut down because of this aweful mess its in right now!!!!

In all fairness, that lawsuit was a couple years ago. He is now being sued for privacy violations.
