Hello.
Doesn’t Bonanza send out an automated notification to a buyer once a package has been marked as shipped along with the tracking number to the package? I do always contact a buyer once they have made a purchase letting them know when their package will ship, etc.
I received an email from Bonanza as below in quotes. I know that sometimes buyers want a real-time update. Just wondering if Bonanza sends out the automated notification as I have always thought they do and have even told buyers in my emails to them that they will receive notification.
Also, I do not really like the automated email sent to me from Bonanza when a buyer has a question. It tells me absolutely nothing and then I am left communicating with a buyer completely blinded. I think this should be changed.
“This is an automated message from Bonanza on behalf of xxxx.
xxxx has requested that you contact them regarding Order #[phone number removed] at your earliest convenience.
If you want to reply to the buyer, you may use the form below."

As far as I know Bonanza sends them a message. I just received a sale and i received notification from Bonanza about the sale, but it has always been like that. I also will send a message to the buyer saying that they will receive a message with tracking from bonanza and paypal when the item is shipped.

Usually, when a marketplace wants to keep conversations via their internal msgs system, they send an e-mail to a seller with info that she/he has received a message from a buyer (without adding the original text), so a seller has to open it and answer on a marketplace msgs page.
In case of some other marketplaces, which don’t have an internal msgs channel, they send a buyer’s message straight to a seller’s e-mail address.

Has something changed here? Doesn’t this message appear in Your B. inbox anymore?
Before, if we first noticed B. e-mail, we could open a message in our B. account, read it and then answer a buyer.
As far as Your title question is concerned, on help pages they have only info with this sample, how to inform Your buyer about shipping an [URL removed] https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/general/email

I have received messages ONLY in my email and not in my B-mail here.
Things here are never as smooth lately as they should be.
At Least Bonz does NOT HIDE the buyers email so I can send them a direct email with the conf# and always Thank them for their Purchase.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
