Bonanza shipping label missing usps tracking # not showing/incomplete bar code

Sold 2 items on Bonanza recently and used shipping through Bonanza prepaid shipping account. When I printed out the labels, they did not contain a numerical bar code beneath the supposed bar code graph. The bar code graph on the label did not appear complete like other shipping label bar codes. However, after the transaction was complete and the labels printed, tracking #s for both shipping labels appeared in my Bonanza dashboard. My postmaster said neither label scanned as having tracking and that parcel first class needed tracking. Told him that I got tracking #s after printing labels but having looked at what appeared incomplete barcodes on the labels without tracking #s printed on the labels, it did not surprised me.

I contacted Bonanza support 3 days ago and so far no response. Today I sold an item on Bonanza and afraid to use Bonanza shipping, although I have over $30 in the account allocated for shipping, due to a possible flawed glitch in the shipping app.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thank you for emailing. I am happy to help. The USPS cannot scan because the selected service does not provide tracking. Only a receipt number is provided with USPS First-Class Mail
large envelope or flat.
The service is not expensive but there is no tracking.

First class package/parcel provides tracking. It costs a tad more but the tracking is included with the shipping service.

Thanks for all the answers. I’ve been using Bonanza shipping for years and really like it so I’m no novice. This is something different. Will contact support again & maybe get different person w different answer. Will post back here. Wish we could use screenshots here to show issues.

Update on 2nd support request for a 2nd set of eyes from support to review issue. As Cool Hand Luke said…What we have here is a failure to communicate. So I get the same B support person asking what the question I have is. This is after sending multiple screen shots and asking specific questions

I have contacted the new Bonanza VP, Greg Braukus, through a Linkedin connection with this link and the other person on Bonanza who has the same problem which wasn’t resolved. I try to place confidence in people caring about providing good customer service but my 2 responses from B were weak.

You have to click to have the barcode to show.

You would think that the default would be having the bar code showing and shipping price not to show.
Instead, you have to make sure you click on these items.

If you using Paypal for shipping, I believe you can go into Paypal and reprint the label and then the bar code should show.

I use paypal for all shipping….just too many things seem to go wrong here…with the shipping, but also since at the beginning bonz did not have shipping, all shipping had to be done elsewhere..I just am more comfortable with something I know works

I was about to buy shipping on Bonanza, and saw [URL removed]

USPS First Class
- tracking not included

It appears that they don’t include shipping with First Class Package, and there isn’t even a way to add it.

Also, as of 3 days ago, First Class Package doesn’t exist and is replaced with Ground Advantage. Bonanza doesn’t seem to have caught onto that yet.

I went and got my shipping from Pirate Ship for the same price and got tracking. Bit of a hassle, but if Bonanza leaves me with no tracking that’s a bigger problem.
