Credit card wont authorize - setting up new account

So it appears that everyone has this very same issue, ive googled this issue and it keeps taking me here on this board and everyone has the issue….with no work around.

I’m setting up my account, and using a MASTERCARD with a $90,000 credit limit. This card works 100% fine and is linked to my other marketplaces and accounts for e-commerce.

Why is it I keep getting an error on BONANZA saying the “We couldn’t process your credit card. Please check to make sure that you entered the number, expiration, and security code correctly, and that your billing address is correct”

So the issue isnt the card itself, bank issuer and the card isnt being declined, …the error is saying the card details/info being entered doesn’t match something, thus Bonanza isnt even attempting to authorize or charge anything to begin with.

What gives BONANAZA? Ive been attempting to do this for 3 days now with no luck of moving forward. What kind of payment gateway are you guys using that doesnt authorize anyone’s credit cards?

I tried tricking the system and went to publish ‘My Booth’ and at that point it again asks me to enter a credit card, in which i get an error saying “You must enter a valid credit card before you can proceed.”

and for those who are wondering, …yes ive tried clearing cache on web, tried different browsers, etc

OK… I got it to work. And heres how….

My credit card has 2 addresses on file, theres the address associated with the owner of the credit card applicant (billing address), and an address where the statements get mailed to (mailing address).

normally, the “Billing address” is used for credit card authorizations….and this is the one that kept getting denied by Bonanza.

However when i used the “mailing address”, it got authorized successfully!

WEIRD RIGHT?!

actually it is the bank that is blocking bonz from authorizing….once the addresses matched then the bank no longer blocked bonz

ccmom, it is the bank, however, when this happend to me, i went into my bank and they said there was an 800 # to call so they did it for me, i got home, it worked…..For 1 day, then it did the same thing again! My bank said if it happened again, I might want to get a new card just for bonanza.

I know…weird……hopefully when mine comes up for renewal next year, I won’t have any trouble changing the card…

This is why 2 sellers had their shops closed down. They were trying to pay their bill and entering their new credit card and couldn’t. They contacted Bonanza. Shame on you Bonanza for not knowing about this and closing down the sellers accounts.

Mine did the same. Problem was the zip code. My card shows 5+4 zip but when I typed that in it wouldn’t work so tried just 5 zip and it worked.

I am having the same problem, when my credit card expired I added the new one and I received the message that it had been added successfully. When I go to my booth it keeps telling me that I need to add a credit card but I’ve been trying for a week now and nothing works.
My address is same, details are being entered correctly and there is no issue with my credit card provider. I am at my wits end as I really want to add my credit card but can’t.
